The City of Lauderhill and Commissioner John T. Hodgson are bringing A Day of Reading to St. George Park on Saturday, September 19, starting at 11:00 AM. The free community event is designed for children ages 5 to 11 and celebrates literacy through guest speakers, interactive activities, crafts, prizes, giveaways, free books, and storybook character photo opportunities. This year's edition features a special Character Day theme, encouraging young attendees to arrive dressed as their favorite book character. The event runs until 2:00 PM and promises a fun, imaginative afternoon for kids and families across Lauderhill.
