Weston Unidos por Venezuela, Recess Kids Club, and the Global Empowerment Mission are teaming up for a school backpack assembly event on Thursday, September 17th from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at Recess Kids Club in Weston. The initiative, titled 'De Niños para Niños' (From Kids for Kids), invites families to come together to pack and donate school supplies for children in need, with Venezuelan caricaturist Rayma making a special guest appearance. The event goes beyond a simple donation drive — it's designed as a community-building afternoon where families can bring their children, participate in acts of solidarity, and witness firsthand the impact of collective action. Rayma will also have her latest shirts available, with proceeds benefiting the We Love Foundation.
