Chalk in the Park returns to Library Park in Weston on Saturday, October 17, 2026, presented by the City of Weston and the Arts Council of Greater Weston in partnership with Nicklaus Children's Health System. This year's theme — Postcards from Weston — invites participants to celebrate the city's 30th anniversary by drawing chalk masterpieces inspired by the places, people, and moments that make Weston special. Check-in opens at 10:15 a.m., the event kicks off at 11 a.m., and all designs must be completed by 1 p.m. Sidewalk squares are first-come, first-served, with chalk provided on-site. The event is free and open to the public, making it a perfect outing for families and art lovers alike. A DJ will provide a lively musical backdrop while participants create, and prizes will be awarded across several categories. Spectators are welcome to stroll through and watch the artwork come to life, enjoy a fun photo opportunity area, and purchase ice cream pops.
