Movies in the Park is back in Deerfield Beach, kicking off its new season with a free outdoor screening of Michael (PG-13), the biographical film starring Jaafar Jackson as the King of Pop. On Friday, October 16, gates open at 6:30 PM and the movie begins at 7:30 PM at the Main Beach Area (149 SE 21st Ave), right by the ocean under the stars. The event is completely free to attend and includes complimentary popcorn for all guests. Food trucks will also be on site for those looking to grab a bite. Families and friends are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a relaxed evening outdoors. More movie nights are planned at parks across the city — the full lineup is available at www.DFB.city/MITP.
