The City of Fort Lauderdale's Parks & Recreation Department brings back the Big Toy and Truck Extravaganza on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Snyder Park. This free, hands-on event invites kids of all ages to get up close with fire-rescue trucks, police vehicles, SWAT and bomb squad units, excavators, cranes, dump trucks, school buses, and much more. Families can expect an exciting and educational afternoon where children, teens, and even adults are encouraged to climb aboard and interact with full-size working vehicles. The event is a great opportunity for young ones to meet first responders and city workers in a fun, open-air environment.
